'A Flicker" By Guy Newsham
Every night, the same orange glow invades the bedroom of Arthur (Fred Ireland), making sleep an impossible luxury. Driven to his wit's end, Arthur takes to the street with a pocketful of stones and a singular goal: to plunge the world into darkness. But his mission is interrupted by the arrival of a stranger (Jack Stuart) who sees the streetlamp not as a nuisance, but as a necessity. What begins as a comedic battle over a lightbulb evolves into a poignant tug-of-war between two men clinging to very different versions of the truth.
There will also be a chat about our upcoming play, 'Harvey,' opening April 17th at Grace Church at 7:30 pm on Friday and Saturday, and at 2:30 pm on Sunday.
Donations are greatly appreciated.
